One-Day Turnaround
For most of my time in Nashville, I cut next-day demos for staff songwriters at publishing companies on tight deadlines. I still love the challenge. Give me what you've got, and let's see what we can do in a day.
Cami Maree
Shine Your LightCami sent over a home-studio acoustic recording and asked what I could do with it in 24 hours. I pulled her vocal, then composed and produced the entire track around it.
Before
Home-studio acoustic + vocal
After
Full production, built around her vocal
Britt
HunterBritt and I met while I was networking with other artists. She was heartbroken: she'd paid a lot for a production that let her down, and her debut event was the next day. I offered to help on the spot, pulled her vocal, reworked the song, brought in a friend to rap the bridge, and mixed it overnight.
Before
The production she came in with
After
Reworked and remixed overnight, new bridge feature
My Secret to a Better Song Pitch
I'm a songwriter and producer first, not an artist, so most of what I write lives beyond what my own voice can do. I'd never release music with AI vocals, but using apps like Audimee to replace my vocal with alternate male and female vocalists has changed the game for pitching, and for conveying the character of what I heard in my mind while writing and producing each of these.
I can help you do this too, if you're looking to up your pitching game.
Here's a curated sampling of my corporate worship and CCM catalog, where I was able to take my melodies to a whole new level with vocal replacement.

A Few Recent Rounds
Songreps runs in six-week rounds, and everyone writes to the same deadline of one song per week. These aren't final masters by any means, but they're how far I was able to develop the song each week. Here are a few that take my voice and creativity from pop to worship, and from metal to a kids' song.
A Word From Bruce Swedien
"Blake is a really interesting young man. He has the magic. He's leaving here knowing how to do it right!"

Why I Do This
This isn't a side hustle. It's a chosen chapter.
I used to do this for a living. But these days, I build and scale small businesses. Which means I get to make music for the love of it, not for what it pays. That's why I have the freedom to work with songwriters looking to develop something special.
I'm not here for the money or for credits. I'm here to invest in passion and creativity. If you have that, we might be a good fit.
Why Work With Me
Industry-trained craft. Songwriters at the center of every decision.
I trained in Nashville and inside elite studios like Blackbird, producing demos for staff songwriters, shaping songs, and learning what makes a record actually land. Today, that craft serves the songwriters I work with. You bring the song. I bring the production it deserves.
What I bring to the room:
- Decades of musicianship across multiple instruments and genres
- Bachelor's in Recording Arts (Valedictorian – 4.0 GPA)
- Mentored by multiple multi-Grammy-winning producers and mixing engineers
- Studio experience inside Blackbird, House of Blues, and other elite rooms
- A high-end home studio with studio-grade mics and full recording + mixing capability
- Commercial instincts across pop, country, worship, and hard-edge lanes
Working Principle
"Most songs don't need fixing. They need someone willing to hear what's already there, and the craft to bring it the rest of the way."
— Blake
A Quick Note on AI
A lot of producers are avoiding this question, so I'll answer it plainly. Outside of my own songs that I actively pitch and never release publicly, I use AI for production in two specific ways: auditioning early song directions, and generating layered vocal harmonies and choir effects. Every instrument on every track is composed, performed, produced, and mixed by me in my studio. I program a lot of instruments, and I record a lot of live instrumentation. But, no, the final product is not SUNO. No shortcuts. The track you get is the track I built.
Investing in Songwriters
1:1 Production Coaching
I love doing this work, but I love teaching it even more. Let's set up some 1:1 time and work through your stopgaps and friction points together. I'll teach you the basics of pulling a professional sound out of the equipment you already have.
Because here's the truth: you don't need a million-dollar studio to make something great. Most writers don't have a gear problem, they have a "no one ever showed me how" problem. They chase the next plugin or burn hours mixing blind, and the songs pile up unfinished. I've helped a lot of writers break that cycle, and watching it click is my favorite part of all of this.
If you want to stop being stuck and start finishing, reach out and let's set up some time.
Let's see if we're a fit.
Send a voice memo, a song idea, or just a few words about what you're working on. Text is the fastest way to reach me, and the easiest way to start a real conversation.
